About.
Industrial X-ray and CT systems, developed and built in-house.
Company
From X-ray components to inline CT.
Royma Industrial CT develops and builds industrial X-ray and computed tomography systems, from 2D X-ray to horizontal, gantry, planar and inline CT. Manufacturers use them to find defects, measure internal geometry and control production quality without destroying the part.
- 2013
Royma is founded. The company sells and services X-ray components for industrial applications and builds its knowledge of sources, detectors and system integration.
- 2015
First 2D X-ray inspection machine, developed for the electronics industry and used in high-volume production.
- 2017
First 3D CT system, with reconstruction and analysis algorithms written in-house.
- 2020
First inline CT system in series production at a battery manufacturer: automated 3D inspection inside the line.
- 2023
Royma Europe is established in Germany. International expansion follows across Europe and Asia.
- 2025
The Beijing production site is completed, and a sales and engineering office opens in the United States.

Production
Source, system and software in-house.
CT and X-ray machines, X-ray sources and key CT components are developed and manufactured by Royma itself. That keeps project times short and quality under one roof, from concept to the finished system.

Suzhou
Headquarters and fully integrated production. The engineers here work on new machine designs and customer projects.
Beijing
Completed in 2025. The site builds CT and X-ray systems for specialised customer projects and is a centre of software development.

Royma Europe
Close to European production.
Royma Europe has served European customers from the Hannover region since 2023, with its own sales staff, an inspection centre for test scans and sales partners in several European countries.
